The Ella Jungle Resort is located in one of the most scenic places in the country. The world renowned Ella Gap is located just a few kilometers away from this hotel. A small stretch has to be travelled by cable car in order to reach the hotel. There are three options when it comes to accommodation; eco jungle chalets, eco jungle cottages and eco jungle cabins. These rooms overlook a river. Guests also have the opportunity to engage in activities like hiking, trekking and exploring the jungle and surroundings.

Eco Jungle Chalet

Room size is 27m2.These rooms feature a private balcony overlooking the river. They feature a seating area and attached bathrooms with cool water facilities. Mosquito nets are provided. There are 17 jungle chalets with each having two rooms on the ground and upper floors.

Eco Jungle Cottage

Room size is 25m2. These rooms too feature a private balcony overlooking the river. There are 2 rooms on the upper and ground floors. There is a seating area and features shared bathrooms with cool water showers facilities. Also consists of a fan and mosquito nets.

Eco Jungle Cabin

Room size is 25 sqm. Rooms overlook the river. Features a private balcony, mosquito nets and seating area. They feature attached bathrooms with cool water facilities.

How to Get There

The hotel has a transfer desk that can provide transfer facilities to the airport at a cost.
You may pre-arrange an Epic Sri Lanka Holidays chauffeur facility for your arrival and departure transfers to and from the airport or to and from any point in the country. From the Bandaranaike International airport, it will take you approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes by road to travel 250 km distance to the hotel. If you do utilize the Epic Sri Lanka Holidays Chauffeur facility you may also request to retain the chauffeur throughout your stay in Sri Lanka at an attractive cost.

Alternatively, for a quicker transfer, you may requestEpic Sri Lanka Holidays to arrange combined air and road transfers. Approx. 1 hour Scheduled domestic flights are available from the Bandaranaike International airport and from Colombo Waters edge to Hatton. Thereafter it is a 3 hours and 15 minute transfer by road from Kandy to Ella Jungle Resort.
