Known to be a former residence of a Scottish tea planter Craig Appin by Jetwing is a beautifully constructed bungalow providing stunning views of the scenic hills and surroundings and lets you experience the Sri Lankan hospitality of the hillside. Inspired by the colonial architecture and equipped with colonial furniture’s this bungalow consists of 5 rooms which includes 3 suites, a deluxe room and a family room. These rustic type rooms are featured with colonial furniture’s such as vintage dressers, four poster beds and rustic writing tables. Guests can choose between western and Sri Lankan cuisine and enjoy the meal on an antique 10-seater table outside the terrace while enjoying the hill country climate. How to Get There

The hotel has a transfer desk that can provide transfer facilities to the airport at a cost.
You may pre-arrange an Epic Sri Lanka Holidays chauffeur facility for your arrival and departure transfers to and from the airport or to and from any point in the country. From the Bandaranaike International airport, it will take you approximately 4 hours by road to travel 135 km distance to the hotel. If you do utilize the Epic Sri Lanka Holidays Chauffeur facility you may also request to retain the chauffer throughout your stay in Sri Lanka at an attractive cost.
Alternatively, for a quicker transfer, you may request Epic Sri Lanka Holidays to arrange combined air and road transfers. Approx 1 hour scheduled domestic flights are available from the Bandaranaike International airport and from Colombo Waters edge to Castlereagh. Thereafter it is 1-hour transfer by road from Castlereagh reservoir to Craig Appin by Jetwing.
We are also able to arrange for you exclusive private helicopter transfers (up to 4 passengers at a time) from any point in the country directly to your hotel or nearest helipad.
Daily trains are available starting from approx. 6 am in the morning from Colombo fort running along the hill country to Hatton. The train ride takes approx. 5 hours to reach Hatton station. All 1st, 2nd and 3rd class seat options are available and travelers who prefer scenic experience may opt for this.
