Avani Kalutara, part of the international hotel chain Avani hotels and resorts is located on the tip of the estuary where the Kalu Ganga (river) meets the sea sprawled across 36 acres of gardens, offering stunning views of both the lagoon and sea.

Superior Rooms

These 32 sqm rooms includes either a king-size bed or two twin beds and accommodates up to 2 adults with a balcony or terrace that open out to views of courtyard, garden, lagoon or sea. Interiors are stylish and modern. Rooms feature standard Avani facilities included free Wi-Fi, tea/ coffee making facilities, rain shower and IP TV.

Deluxe Rooms

These 37 sqm rooms offer extra space and accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children and come with either lagoon or sea views. Includes either a king-size bed or two twin beds and has bonus facilities such as a Nespresso machine and BOSE surround sound system.

Junior Suite

These ocean view suites are 60 sqm in size and include a king-size bed with separate living area with comfortable lounge furnishings, private bar, and balcony or terrace with chairs. How to Get There

The hotel has a transfer desk that can provide transfer facilities to the airport at a cost.

You may pre-arrange an Epic Sri Lanka Holidays chauffeur facility. It takes approximately 2 hours by road to travel 95 km distance to the hotel from the Bandaranaike International Airport. You may also request to retain the chauffeur throughout your stay in Sri Lanka at an attractive cost.

If travelling from Colombo, 28 coastal trains are available from 6 am till 7 pm on weekdays and available on weekends and public holidays. These trains depart from Colombo Fort travelling down to making stops along the main coastal towns, including Kalutara.

We are also able to arrange for you exclusive private helicopter transfers (up to 4 passengers at a time) from any point in the country directly to your hotel or nearest helipad.
