Your whale watching tour will start at 6 am in the morning and your pick up time, which could be up to 2 hours ahead of this time, will vary based on your location in the South and proximity to Mirissa fisheries harbour. It is recommended that you bring a packed breakfast with you. The boat will take approximately two hours to reach the place where the whales can be commonly seen. This tour offers you the opportunity to spot the largest sea creatures in the world. Once you reach the perfect area you may see blue whales, sperm whales, bottlenose dolphin, striped dolphin, whale sharks, turtles, flying fish and many other species in their habitat.
The migration season starts from October and moves through April, the chances of encounters are the highest from December to February.
