Sitting beside the scenic and historic Kandy Lake, Hotel Suisse was originally the residence of the Chief Minister of the Royal Granary in the 17th century which was then occupied by a British officer who named it ‘Haramby House’. After which it was sold to a Swiss Lady who ran it as a guest house before it became the headquarters of the South East Asia Command during the Second World War.
There are four room types; standard rooms, deluxe rooms, super deluxe rooms and suites. All the rooms are beautifully furnished with wooden interiors and floral decor with views of the garden and pool.
