Located in Nuwara Eliya approximately 15 km away from the Welimada town, this waterfall is the widest in the country, due to the fact that it consists of several little waterfalls together. The walk to the waterfall requires a small hike where you will encounter some small, narrow pathways. It will take approximately 2 hours, but the views and the surroundings make it worthwhile. What makes it more enjoyable is that it is a great spot for a picnic with family and friends and rest. The area is untouched and remote – away from everything. The best time to visit would be during the rainy season.
